Senior White Belt to Yellow Belt
            

1st Stripe:
1. 4 moves of Chon Ji (Form #1), without assistance
2. Recite the Tenets of TaeKwonDo
3. Demonstrate a Side Kick
4. Good Attendance (Minimum 5 classes)
5. Consistent Effort (Minimum 2 weeks)

2nd Stripe:
1. 8 moves of Chon Ji (Form #1), without assistance
2. Recite the name of the form
3. Demonstrate a Crescent Kick
4. Good Attendance (Minimum 10 classes)
5. Consistent Effort (Minimum 4 weeks)

3rd Stripe:
1. 12 moves of Chon Ji (Form #1) without assistance
2. Meaning and number of moves in the Form
3. Demonstrate an Outside Crescent Kick/ Lead Leg Side Kick Combination
4. Good Attendance (Minimum 15 classes)
5. Consistent Effort (Minimum 6 weeks)

4th Stripe:
1. Chon Ji (Form #1) without assistance
2. Recite the meaning of TaeKwonDo
3. Explain proper target area, and striking tools with a Side Kick and a Front Kick
4. Good Attendance (Minimum 20 classes)
5. Consistent Effort (Minimum 8 weeks)

5th Stripe:
1. One steps 1 and 2
2. Must demonstrate self control by standing at attention for one minute, then define self control
3. Good Attendance (Minimum 20 classes)

To Earn a YELLOW BELT:
1. Students must be able to perform all skills listed above upon request.
2. Students must have at least 10 weeks and 20 days of training.

4th Stripe:
1. One steps 3 & 4
2. Demonstrate the stages of leg movement of a Side Kick and Round Kick
3. Explain the proper striking area of foot with a Round and a Crescent Kick
4. Good Attendance (Minimum 15 classes)
5. Consistent Effort (Minimum 8 weeks)


To Earn a SENIOR YELLOW BELT:

3. Demonstrate #1 Round Kick / Spin Crescent Kick Combination

5. Consistent Effort (Minimum 6 weeks)

4th Stripe:
1. One steps 5 & 6
2. Demonstrate 50 jumping jacks, 10 push ups, and 20 sit ups (2 two sets)
3. Good Attendance (Minimum 20 classes)
4. Consistent Effort (Minimum 8 weeks)

3rd Stripe:
1. All 28 moves of Won Hyo without assistance
2. Meaning and number of moves in the form
3. Demonstrate #1 Round Kick / Spin Crescent Kick / Back Kick
4. Good Attendance (Minimum 15 Classes)
5. Consistent Effort (Minimum 6 weeks)

4th Stripe:
1. Free sparring combination #1 and #2
2. Explain or demonstrate the weight distribution in front stance, back stance, and sitting stance
3. Good Attendance (Minimum 20 classes)
4. Consistent Effort (Minimum 8 weeks)

2. Name and number of moves in the form
3. Demonstrate #3 Hook Kick

4th Stripe:
1. Free sparring combination #1 and #2
2. Explain the difference between a Hook Kick and a Crescent Kick
3. Good Attendance (Minimum 20 classes)
